WineGB Awards

Two Beacons Vineyard wins Best Newcomer at the WineGB Awards.

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Best Newcomer for our

Pinot Noir Precoce 2021 at the WineGB Awards 2024, the national competition for the

English and Welsh wine industry.

This year’s competition saw a record number of entries and gold medals awarded. Up

against stiff competition, our Pinot Noir Precoce 2021 came out on top with a Gold

medal in this record-breaking year.

Furthermore, our Bacchus 2022 and Sparkling Pinot Noir 2021 Rose won Silver and

our Pinot Noir Precoce 2022 won Bronze.

Our wines were judged by an esteemed panel chaired by Susie Barrie MW, Oz Clarke

OBE, and Peter Richards MW alongside Rebecca Palmer (Corney & Barrow), Matt

Horsley (The Wine Society), Giles James (ID Wines), Dan Farrell-Wright (Wickhams), Matt

Hodgson (Grape Britannia), and Rebecca Mitchell (Rebecca M Wines).

Official WineGB tasting note; Floral and red berry scent with a bittersweet palate

profile with dried red fruit, floral notes and a touch of leather/cigar. Fine tannins and

elegantly bittersweet. A lovely wine.
